Our Mission

At St. John's Mt. Washington we open our doors and invite all people to enter into a life of faith. We a welcoming community that gathers for inspiring worship in a holy place, seeks a deeper relationship with God and each other, and we commit ourselves to serve those in need beyond our doors.

Join us for worship on Sundays at 10:30am.

Looking for a glimpse of the Kingdom of God? Show up any Sunday at St. John’s Mt. Washington. You will be inspired by the teenagers who serve as lectors, acolytes, ushers, and chalice bearers. You will hear Caribbean and East African accents. You will see friends give an arm to those who need assistance getting to the altar and a mentally challenged neighbor shown dignity and kindness. You will see sinners who are redeemed; children of God who are broken and yet whole; and you will know how deeply you are loved…

We are in need of your help.

Feed My Sheep, our ministry to help feed the hungry in Baltimore, needs volunteers. As part of our commitment to this ministry, St. John's Outreach Committee staffs the Salvation Army's Feedmore Van each Tuesday. We also make sandwiches for distribution on the van once a month.

Van riders are needed on January 24 & 31

Please consider giving some of your time to help those in need. We need many hands to continue this vital ministry. We welcome participation from ANYONE in the Baltimore community (and beyond).
